Great Studio Hack!

Great Studio Hack!

Places to hang a painting in your studio are always at a premium. I have a beautiful, large studio with generous wall space but to have a little more never hurts! There is a 10" post in the middle of my studio holding up the floor above. To utilize that space, without paying a handyman, I purchased 2 by-fold doors and four corner thingys (you can see them at the top of the doors in the photo) at Home depot. You simply stand them up in two L-shapes, and attach the corner thingy to secure the L-shape. Then put the two L-shapes together to make a square and attach the other two corner thingys.

If they are going to be free-standing, without the post in the middle, you would need to do more to secure them from tipping over. I didn't need to do that with the two stands on each side of my doors and the post in the middle.

Easy, peasy!
