Fall Color Trends Lookbook

Fall Color Trends Lookbook

Fall Interior Design Color Trends

When one hears the word fall they immediately picture spiced orangey reds and rich, deep hues of pumpkin and eggplant. But who’s to say fall color trends can’t be dream-like and hazy to mimic that perfect autumn sunset?

I’ve created a fall lookbook to serve up some color inspiration and a new way to think about fall decor.

Fall color trends: BLUSHING

fall color trend with a pastel color palette

This fall inspired color palette is soft and subtle

One of the best reasons for incorporating pastel artwork into a home’s design and décor is the sheer relaxation factor. Inspired by the colors of an autumn sunset during that magical twilight hour these fall color trends are warming and cheerful, but their muted tones help to soothe and relax.

“Calming the mind and soothing the senses, these delicate colors make dusk the most tranquil time of day.” – Coastal Living

I also love the subtle and soft backdrop pastels give my art for the bolder colors to pop on the surface while still maintaining a calming presence like in these contemporary artworks below.

Fall color trends: GLOWING

blue and yellow fall trend color palette

This fall inspired color palette is moody and rich

The golden yellow glow of the leaves as they begin to change is another wonderful fall color trend but needs another color to help ground its richness. That’s why I’ve paired it with a cool, confident blue to balance its brightness. Plus, in my opinion you can never really go wrong with adding blue to your decor color palette!
